Dianthus plants are also called “pinks” because they come in a variety of pinky-red hues. These delicate flowers have a subtle cinnamon, clove fragrance that’ll spice up your garden (literally!).
They are the perfect beginner plant because they are easy to care for. Allow them 6 hours of sun a day. That can be full sun, partial shade, or anywhere, so long as they get some vitamin C. Water when dry, and apply fertilizer every 6-8 weeks.
